As part of the research into the business stationary I have looked at letterhead designs. This is going to be influenced by the design of the business card and the other elements to make them a full identity within the promotional material.
If i take on the idea of the 1:2 column system in the business card this will then run through this product and all the others.
Below is a collection of images which i compiled to show some inspiration for the letterhead design.

The main focus within the letterhead design was to look at the idea of the two column design, which not all of these examples are that, but the majority are. This is the system in which i have chosen to design the business stationary around and i wanted to get an idea of how it looked.
'Big tolly' and 'passport' business stationery is a great example of this amongst others. I think that this shows an interesting layout and produces a good visual stationery range. The designs look balanced throughout the page layout and it can be used across all stationery. For example the passport branding shown above, uses this same idea of two columns within the layout and it looks really great, it also shows that it can be used across the full stationery range of products.
