Brief 3 // Iconic Cities // Luggage Tags

As a last product for the brief, I decided to create some luggage tags to work with the travel guide and website. These use the Iconic Cities branding and take design elements from the title pages within the guide to create the design of these. Obviously they are also inspired from the original luggage tags that I researched from the start. The branding colours are used within these tags too.

I created a set of 5 designs for the tags, these have a design on the back which represent the luggage tags that you would receive when going on holiday, there is a set for going on holiday and one for returning home. These are distinguished apart from each other, by the small message on the bottom which personalise the tags and the colours are reversed on them.

The five designs for the luggage tags. These take design elements from the title pages and all include the logo of the for Iconic Cities. The colours from the branding has also been used.

As the users will use a luggage tag for the outbound and inbound journey of there holiday, they will need different information for each journey. I have created a tag for each of these journeys, the difference is that the colours have been reversed and the message at the bottom is worded differently so they work for the purpose of the journey.

The back design of the tags, are inspired from the original luggage tags that I did my research on. These take aesthetics of the old traditional tags with separating the information up with the use of simple lines to create different sections for each one. The logo is also present at the top of the tag and at the bottom there is a sentence which personalises the tags. This design will be the same on each of the 5 tags.

This is the design for the outbound journey.

This is the design for the inbound journey.
