The front cover of the booklet is this illustration above. The illustration communicates the idea of sustainable living and how being energy efficient can help the world be a better place. The colours are all in keeping with the colour scheme and creates a good visual aesthetic for the first thing the user sees as they open the info pack.
As the product is a landscape A4 which is split in the middle to open up the illustration had to split in half to in order for it to fit within the artwork for the booklet. Also adding the title and logo to the artwork gives it an identity and informs what the product is about. The logo in the top corner gave me the idea of how it can work within the information booklet.
The inside of the booklet is split into two sections, one on either side. These two sections are living with energy and home improvements. These two sections inform the user about energy and how it effects there household. The two sections are split by an illustration which illustrates simple things that can be changed to your household to make it more energy efficient.
This illustration splits the house into 4 rooms which each has something within it that can be changed to make your home more energy efficient. The illustration are in keeping with the illustration and styles of the rest of the products.
As the first product of the information pack and the first one the users will interact with, this needed to set the style and communication of the information pack. I think that this achieves that, the information is an introduction to the idea of energy within the household and how simple improvement to the users home can save energy. The illustrations, colours, type and format of this product are carried throughout all the rest of the products within the pack, I think sets the style for the info pack and gives a great introduction to it.
